For some reason, this editorial has stuck with me over the last 16 years…I first read it in Transworld Skate Magazine when I was 13 years old.
Something about it resonated with me and creeped into my psyche.
Whenever I was confronted with the “scared” feeling I would think of these words…
Getting nervous to hit a jump snowboarding?
Asking that amazing girl named Julia out in high school?
Graduating and facing the reality that I am now headed to the real world?
Leaving a wonderful, safe, secure job to pursue my dream of working in commercial real estate?
Realizing that I am now 100% responsible for an amazing little human (who has Julia’s eyes)?
That first line would float into my head and then the rest would follow…
